Workplace Violence Awareness Program and Intervention Techniques

Violence in the workplace has is an ever increasing problem for employers all over the world. Some incidents are minor while others have been far more serious and have lead to tragedies. Participants will learn how to:

  • Spot problems as they develop
  • Apply appropriate counseling and other intervention techniques
  • Handle dangerous or disturbed individuals
  • Safely terminate a violent or disgruntled employee
  • Request appropriate law enforcement intervention (and what you can realistically expect the police to do)
  • Protect employees, property and proprietary information from a disgruntled employee
